MEET YOUR
COACHES
Meet Coach Yari, a dedicated Law Enforcement Officer and Drill Sergeant in the US Army, driven by a fervent desire to educate. Coach Yari's journey in Jiu-Jitsu began with her introduction to police combatives, sparking a passion that led her to train at Elite MMA with Coach Eric Williams in 2019 and later at Liberatus with Coach Johnny Narnanjo. Passionate about teaching self-defense and fostering personal growth, Coach Yari finds fulfillment in instructing children. Her extensive Army training and experience in law enforcement uniquely position her to instill discipline, respect, and essential self-defense skills in young learners, making her an invaluable asset to their development.

Bradley "Keith" Bucklew epitomizes the essence of a seasoned martial artist, boasting over three decades of unwavering dedication across various disciplines. From Jiu-Jitsu to kickboxing and rigorous physical conditioning, his breadth of expertise knows no bounds.
Prior to embracing his passion full-time, Coach Keith served as a steadfast law enforcement officer, refining his skills in discipline, focus, and resilience. Recently retired from his law enforcement career, Coach Keith, alongside his wife Yaritza (Coach Yari), embarked on a lifelong dream of owning a martial arts gym. Their vision is to cultivate a welcoming, inclusive environment where individuals of all proficiencies, from novices to seasoned practitioners, can unite to pursue fitness goals and deepen their martial arts understanding.
Coach Keith's martial arts journey began in childhood, as he immersed himself in self-directed training through books, magazines, and movies. His formal training encompassed various disciplines, yet it was Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that captivated his heart after witnessing the inaugural Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in 1993. Transitioning to Texas in 1999, Coach Keith commenced his Jiu-Jitsu odyssey at TNT Jiu-Jitsu in Houston before finding his home at Elite MMA under the guidance of Eric Williams and Hai Nguyen.
Throughout his 24-year tenure as a Police Officer in Katy, Coach Keith demonstrated the efficacy of Jiu-Jitsu in law enforcement, pioneering the Katy Police Department's inaugural Jiu-Jitsu training program. Embracing a diverse array of students, Coach Keith's passion for instruction remained unwavering.
